Whats on in 2020
The beginning of 2020 at St George's continued to be a busy one with numerous events taking place andf others planned - until Covid 19 came along which put a stop to all of them.
Regretfully all events have been cancelled
or postponed until further notice
PAST EVENTS
January
Friday 24th. Winter lunch organised by 4 Charities at the Udimore Community Hall at 12:30. This year's speaker was Corinne Bailey, a Trustee with Tanzanear, who explained some of the issues facing deaf children in Tanzania.
February
Saturday 1st. Quiz with a difference. Friends of St. George's. Brede Village Hall at 7:30 pm.
Friday 7th. Soup and Scrabble, Udimore Community Hall at 12 noon organised by the 4 Charities who raise funds for those in need overseas.
March
Friday 6th. Soup and Scrabble, Udimore Community Hall at 12 noon. organised by the 4 Charities group who raise funds for those in need.
Sunday 22nd. Mothers Day Family morning service. A joint St. Mary's, Udimore and St. George's Church, Brede service for all the family.
9:30 am. St. George's Church. Sung Family Eucharist.
11:30 am. St. Mary's Church, Udimore. Sung Family service for all the family
BOTH SERVICES HAVE HAD TO BE CANCELLED
Sunday 29th. Sponsored walk arranged by the 4 Charities group around the Tillingham Valley.
CANCELLED.
It is hoped that this will be now be held in Spring/Summer 2021
August
Brede Flower Festival. August Bank holiday
CANCELLED
Regretfully this has had to be cancelled because of Covid 19. Various alternative events are being discussed and will be announced as soon as they have been finalised.
September
9th - Ride and Stride. This is still being planned with further details being announced as soon as they have been finalised.

11th - Annual Parochial Church Meeting. This was held in St.George's with everyone staying at a safe distsnce.
