The 2018 Flower Festival

The theme for 2018 Flower Festival is to be "A Hundred Years Ago..  Here is our dedicated website for this amazing event. https://www.bredeflowerfestival.org.uk/

 

Held over the Saturday, Sunday and Monday  of the August Bank Holiday (25th, 26th and 27th)there will be over 1,300 visitors, many of them from other parts of the country and even some from Europe.

 

The event will be open from 10am - 5pm on the Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

 

The church tower will be open every day so you can climb up to the tower and see such amazing sights across to the Brede Valley.  At 2.30 every day the St Georges Bell Ringer will give a bell ringing demonstration and you can try you hand at bell ringing!

 

With some 30 themed displays and a similar number of arrangements, the Church becomes a mass of colour with comments of "Superb", "Spectacular - beautiful flowers superbly arranged", "Paradise on earth", "Every year one runs out of praise for the displays" being made last year.

 

Lunch and refreshments, stalls and a Grand Draw will be available over all three days.

Help is also required to help with the catering, manning the stalls, welcoming visitors to the Flower Festival and car parking.  If you would like to help in any way, please contact us!

 

 

The 2017 Flower Festival

The 2017 Flower Festival was a great success!!

 

A wonderful display of flowers in church, marvellous stalls and refreshments, and a great eveiung on Saturday listening to Helen Sharpe, and enjoying the Paella and Prosecco (courtesy of the Red Lion).

 

 

 

 

2016 Flower Festival

 

This year's theme is "Favourite Films"
